Why am I seeing a "Subscribe" or "PEOPLE VIP" screen when I try to play a game?

We recently updated the PEOPLE App to introduce PEOPLE VIP, our premium subscription membership program. While daily favorites like PEOPLE Mini, PEOPLE Pieces, Second Look, and Groupies remain free to play for current day's releases, a few specific features now require an active PEOPLE VIP membership:

1. PEOPLE Puzzler & Generations: PEOPLE Puzzler (our full daily crossword) and Generations are now exclusive features for PEOPLE VIP subscribers.
2. Game Archives & Past Puzzles: Replaying past daily puzzles, recent games, or themed Pieces Packs now requires a PEOPLE VIP membership. Free users can play today's puzzle for free every day, but past archive access is reserved for VIP members.

I am already a PEOPLE VIP subscriber. Why are games still locked?

If you are an active PEOPLE VIP member and are being asked to subscribe, your account may simply be signed out.

To restore your access:

1. Tap the Account / Profile icon in the app navigation.
2. Ensure you are signed in using the exact email address associated with your PEOPLE VIP membership.
3. Once signed in, all VIP-exclusive games (PEOPLE Puzzler, Generations) and past game archives will immediately unlock.

How do I sign up for PEOPLE VIP to unlock all games?

You can upgrade to PEOPLE VIP at any time directly inside the app by tapping any locked game or visiting our website. Choose between PEOPLE VIP (Digital) or PEOPLE VIP + Print to unlock 1,000+ archived games, PEOPLE Puzzler, Generations, early magazine access, and more!
